The “I Care What You Think” Club

Posted by on Mar 9, 2012 in General | 0 comments

I want to expand this morning on what we started yesterday… coaching and guiding people we know. My conclusion was: don’t waste your time trying to coach someone who is not asking for your help, and secondly remember that they must be within reach of your answer… that they are only capable of taking baby steps from where their current beliefs are. I want to us the example of teenagers. For any of you who are parents of teens, like myself, this is absolutely true. Do not try to tell them something about themselves or their behavior unless they...

Only If They Ask…

If you are reading this email, you probably are a teacher. You clearly want to grow and expand for yourself, and although you may not realize it, you probably want that for others around you as well. As coaches and teachers, we so much want to help people. We hear them mention something and we really want to share with them what wisdom we have gained with regards to that subject.  We share all we know, and try to get them to commit to following our recommended plan for them.  Funny, many times they are really not interested in doing that. You...

What You Send Out Is What You Get Back

Posted by on Mar 7, 2012 in Inspired Personal Stories | 0 comments

Most of us have preconditioned beliefs about money and the judgments we place on money. In fact, money allows you to give back, to support others, and to create positive change in the world. Financial abundance brings your promptings into focus and allows you to act on those promptings in life-changing ways. Today you might act on a prompting by sending a greeting card to someone. A few years from now you may start a foundation as a result of acting on a prompting.       My dad made an impression on me as a young man. He always carried a...

Pay It Forward

Pay It Forward

Charity and giving are essential components to happiness. Stretching it even further to anonymous charity will elevate the feeling of joy to a greater level. When an anonymous gift is given, the recipient embraces an awareness that they are being seen, and that they are not alone. Upon acceptance of the gift, they may be inspired to pass it on to someone else in some way. However, the most significant gift is to you, the giver. The feeling of bringing joy to a “stranger” who has absolutely no expectation of this gift, is nearly indescribable....

Do You Want a Magical Life? Simply Give It to Yourself

It seems hard to believe that a little bit more self-love every day can add up to a life filled with the magic of happiness, but it works.  And it is perfectly magical! Giving yourself love is really easy to do once you understand what it is and then get the hang of it.  So, what is it anyway?  It is making the effort to put your attention on things that please you for the simple reason of feeling that pleasure.  It is not complicated and anyone can do it.  It is a CHOICE.  It is choice that a person makes because they value themselves and...

You Can Do a Lot in a Day

Posted by on Feb 29, 2012 in General | 0 comments

Happy Leap Day to all of you. I recently saw the movie In Time with Justin Timberlake. The premise is that money is replaced by minutes. When a person turns 25 years old there is a biological clock that starts ticking on their arm with one year worth of seconds. When the seconds are gone you “time out” and die. People are able to give and receive minutes between themselves as currency… for rent, salary, transportation, even a cup of coffee. There are investment firms, banks, and missions that deal with the minutes as currency. Most of the...

Your Daily Focus: Gratitfulnespiation

Posted by on Nov 25, 2011 in General, Health, Money, Parenting, Relationships, Self Love | 0 comments

Yesterday was Thanksgiving. I was reminded by a friend that we in the United States (and Canada) are lucky to have holidays that revolve around thankfulness. As I was drenching myself in the energy of this day, I found myself lost in appreciation rather than gratitude or thankfulness. I will explain the difference I perceive later. As I was thinking of all the things I am thankful for, I found myself thinking more of the challenges I went through this year. I launched a new business in the Knee Clinic this year in June. This was a huge time...

Your Daily Focus: Trust

Posted by on Nov 22, 2011 in General, Relationships, Self Love, Workplace & Business | 0 comments

Trust. What an intriguing concept. What is it exactly, and how is it defined? Can you trust someone based on what they say? “Trust me, I wouldn’t hurt you.” It’s nice to hear those words, but is it enough? Can you trust someone based on what they do? Can you research all of their past history and see if they have been true to their word? Can you trust someone based on the look in their eyes? If you see deeply into them and feel safe, is that enough? Well, which one is it? Or is it a combination of all three? Who cares! It’s really more about...
